Outdoor and lifestyle brand from the UK

For a well-known UK company with various outdoor, sports and lifestyle brands, I was responsible for the following activities:

  • Registration of the legal entity
  • Establishment of office and showroom
  • Recruitment and onboarding of a team of 8 FTE (sales, marketing, sales support, administration)
  • Expansion of customer portfolio from 0 to 200+ trading partners
  • Start-up and expansion of retail to 5 branches
  • Launch on Bol.com with sales growth to €500K+
I laid the foundation for the launch on the Dutch market, integrating wholesale, Retail and e-commerce into the business model. The company now occupies a prominent position in the Dutch landscape with a clear long-term vision and strategy.

American FMCG company

For a US company with expansion plans into the Netherlands and Germany, I was responsible for:

  • Setting up offices and teams in the Netherlands and Germany
  • Team recruitment (10 FTE in sales, marketing, sales support, financial administration)
  • Leading the transition from importer to own organization
This transition from distributor to own organization involves several aspects. Besides the physical aspects such as office space and personnel, the contract takeover of the customer base is a very challenging process. After these initial steps, the company is now well prepared for further growth.


International brand in travel goods

For a startup in bags and travel accessories, I was responsible for the launch and further growth on platforms such as Bol.com and Amazon:

  • Brand registration and online launch on Bol.com, Amazon (NL/DE/FR/IT/ES)
  • Successful integration with fulfilment partner
  • Growth from 0 to 50+ orders per day. Sales growth to €250K+
